Beacon PR was founded in 2000 by Glenna Blackwell, Pat Jacobs, Linda Moore and Joan Pearson.

As you can see from our photos, we have more years’ experience under our belts than we usually care to point out...but clients say they benefit from our accumulated wisdom and a very hands-on, professional approach by the directors.

The line-up includes director of marketing Jane Williams, who brings client-side experience to the team from her time as sales and marketing director of Cresta Holidays, and account managers Helen Moore and Shirley Robins. Team administrators Victoria Marley and Kelly Buckley provide admin support. We also call on four established freelance consultants when we need to. 

The open-plan office means everyone knows what is going on. A team ethic ensures our clients never miss a media opportunity and journalists know we’ll provide the right information in the right format at the right time. 

Our converted barn in Harringworth is a relaxed and creative environment and the country location helps keep overheads (and fees) low. Yet we are only 55 minutes by train from central London and within easy reach of clients all over the UK.
