Beacon PR has been working out of a converted barn in Northamptonshire since 2000, but our travel PR and marketing roots go back many years.

Three of the founding directors – Pat Jacobs, Linda Moore and Joan Pearson – are very much hands-on. As you can see from our pictures, together they bring more years of travel PR experience to the business than they care to count!

We also understand the client side of the travel industry. Jane Williams was formerly sales and marketing director of Cresta Holidays and spent 20 years in travel before joining Beacon PR. The team is completed by account manager Shirley Robins.

Our open-plan office means everyone knows what is going on. A team ethic ensures that our clients never miss an editorial opportunity and strong journalists can rely on Beacon PR to come up with the right information in the right format at the right time.

Our office-in-a-barn is a relaxed and creative environment. The country location helps keeps overheads – and fees – low. Yet we are only an hour by train from central London and within easy access of clients across the UK.
